Analyzing Resource Efficiency Methods in Turkey: The Impact on Production Cost and Sales Volume

Rapid economic growth along with carelessness related to environmental problems have caused adverse impacts on nature and civilization as a whole. The effects include temperature changes increased climactic disasters. To minimize the negative of climate change reduce future emissions, several governments announced charges for greenhouse gas emissions. However, these present extra operational costs firms impact their financial health. This study analyses offering ecological friendly products services production sales volume resource-efficient Turkish Small medium sized enterprises (SMEs) using data from Flash Eurobarometer 456. findings reveal that “green” do not increase volume. resource efficiency activities can influence SMEs’ costs. result help practitioners who are looking opportunities cost reductions in manufacturing apply more mechanisms.
